RSS AMSR2 Rain Rate Data

The Advanced Microwave Scanning Radiometer 2 (AMSR2) instrument Rain Rate data is available from Remote Sensing Systems. The near-polar orbit of the GCOMW1 satellite allows for a twice daily sampling of the rain rate at a given location on Earth. The data provided includes: * Daily samples * 3 day running averages * Weekly running averages * Monthly running averages All data provided is up to date. Data collected prior to version 8 has been reprocessed to more accurately reflect true data.
