Pollen Counts Data
648.002
These pollen count measurements are part of the BACS (BioAerosols and Convective Storms) campaign. The purpose of the BACS campaign was to characterize the dynamics between convective storms and bioaerosols in a grassland environment. The campaigns took place from May 23 – June 17, 2022 (BACS I), and from May 22 – June 23, 2023 (BACS II), and were conducted in northeastern Colorado at the Central Plains Experimental Range, an NSF National Ecological Observatory Network site, with an average altitude of 1654 m. The associated data is for intact pollen counts collected in soil plot #3 located northwest of the NEON flux tower (40.816279, -104.746411). Samples were collected continuously throughout both campaigns. Measurements are reported at hourly and daily time intervals.
