WACCM Specified Chemistry simulations with the spectral element NE120 F2000 July
d583106
These are high-resolution WACCM specified chemistry (SC) simulations with the spectral element (SE) dynamical core. The code base of the model is CESM1 with CAM5 physics (described in Liu et al., 2014). The horizontal resolution is about 25 km interpolated on longitude/latitude grid (1152 x 768 horizontal grid points), and the vertical resolution is ~0.1 scale height (209 levels). The simulation was part of a NCAR Strategic Capability (NSC) project. The request is for a subset of the simulation that has been used for a paper to be submitted to GRL.
