Goals:
Measure the background concentrations created by exposing the bag to OH. Sample ISOPN pillow bags. Interested mainly in:
-what signals do the instruments see with no added VOC.
-which instruments observe signal from the ISOPN, and is their response linear to different ISOPN concentrations.

Summary:
Today we successfully ran a blank experiment (H2O2 added, no added VOC) in the high NOx bag. Instruments took turns coming off the blank experiment to sample pillow bag standards of the 4-OH, 3-nitrate isoprene hydroxynitrate provided by the Cohen and Shepson groups. The Cohen group bag was 13 ppb and the 3 Shepson bags were 47 ppt, 103 ppt, and 283 ppt.

Organization: 2014 FIXCIT Study
Lab Affiliation: California Institute of Technology
Chamber: Seinfeld chambers

Experiment Category: Blank/Control
Oxidant: Hydroxyl radical
Reactants: 4-hydroxy-3-nitrooxy ISOPN, hydrogen peroxide
Reaction Type: Photooxidation
Relative Humidity: 5
Temperature: 24-27
Pressure: 750
