ICARUS Chamber Experiment: Ng Research Group_20220710_Limonene_Nitrate radical_Ammonium sulfate_LIM-2
d789525
Goals: To derive an SOA mass yield curve for limonene + NO3 system and to serve as a base case for the pure limonene system when comparing single- vs. multi-precursor systems. Summary: 0.8 uL of liquid limonene was injected, followed by the injection of 80 ppb of N2O5 (source of nitrate radical) at a rate of 11.3 ppb / minute. Organization: Ng Research Group Lab Affiliation: Georgia Institute of Technology Chamber: Georgia Tech Environmental Chamber (Far) Experiment Category: Gas phase chemical reaction, Condensed-phase chemical reaction, Volatility and partitioning, Aerosol formation Oxidant: Nitrate radical Reactants: Limonene Reaction Type: Dark oxidation, Oligomerization Relative Humidity: 0-2 Temperature: 5 Seed Name: Ammonium sulfate
