ICARUS Chamber Experiment: Nguyen Group_20211129_None_Ammonium sulfate
d789097

Goals:
This experiment serves as a no-organic control for experiments on 11/16/21 and 11/19/21, to examine the dark size-dependent loss rates of ammonium sulfate aerosol in the chamber while filter collection is in progress.

Summary:
The chamber was humidified to ~80% RH; ammonium sulfate was introduced by atomization. Filter collection proceeded for ~6 hours and particle loss rates were measured during that time.

Organization: Nguyen Group
Lab Affiliation: UC Davis
Chamber: Tran's big bag of air

Experiment Category: Volatility and partitioning, Instrument/Chamber characterization, Blank/Control
Oxidant: None
Reaction Type: Non-chemical
Relative Humidity: 84
Temperature: 20-22
Seed Name: Ammonium sulfate
Pressure: 755 Torr
