WACCM-X Simulations for November 2020 to December 2021
d583127
The dataset contains simulation output for the time period from November 2020 to December 2021 that is in support of the publication "Quasi 6-Day Planetary Wave Oscillations in Equatorial Plasma Irregularities". The output is from three different simulations in the Whole Atmosphere Community Climate Model with thermosphere-ionosphere eXtension (WACCM-X). The three simulations are: realistic lower atmosphere and solar/geomagnetic variability, realistic lower atmosphere and constant solar/geomagnetic activity; and climatological lower atmosphere with variable solar/geomagnetic activity.
