NCAR Graphics Guide to New Utilities: Version 3.00

Abstract

Seven new utilities have been written for Version 3.00 of NCAR Graphics. The package features new device drivers for many new terminals and printers. You can now display graphics in windows on workstations and terminals that run the X Window System. This manual describes the utilities that are new in Version 3.00. Examples follow the utility to which they apply. Pages with example output are marked with a short black bar on the edge to make them easier for you to locate. The manual is divided into the following chapters: Chapter 1: Introduction, Chapter 2: Color, Chapter 3: Contours, Chapter 4: Area Fill, Chapter 5: Text, Labels, and Legends, Chapter 6: Movies, Appendixes and Index,
