Users are advised to transition to this updated dataset.</span> </p> <p> This dataset contains Version 2.3 of the Global Precipitation Climatology Project (GPCP) Monthly Analysis Product. The data are monthly analyses defined on a global 2.5 degree by 2.5 degree longitude/latitude grid and cover the period January 1979 to (delayed) present. </p>
