Hurricane Imaging Radiometer (HIRAD) Data

This data set contains the ocean surface wind speed and rain rate data as well as excess brightness temperature data in tropical storms and hurricanes from the Hurricane Imaging Radiometer (HIRAD) instrument that flew on board the NASA WB-57 aircraft during the Tropical Cyclone Intensity (TCI) project. The data are in Network Common Data Form (NetCDF). Browse imagery are also included.
