GOES-8 Visible LSA-NC Sector Imagery

GOES-8 Visible satellite imagery collected for the GCIP Enhanced Seasonal Observing Period 1997 (ESOP-97) via McIDAS-X and then converted to GIF image format. These images are at 1 km resolution. These data are available for browsing purposes, and should not be used for detailed scientific analyses.
