Marine surface meteorological and actinometric observations from Russian Research Vessels

Meteorological and actinometric (radiation) observations made aboard Russian Research Vessels were digitized from cruise reports and logbooks at the All-Russia Research Institute of Hydrometeorological Information (RIHMI). The data cover 1937-2000 with the large majority in 1970-1992. There were 3753 documents (logbooks) with meteorological observations and 1125 documents with actinometric observations digitized. This work was support by a NSF grant.
