A Comparison of Shape Preserving Interpolators

This report provides a survey of a number of the currently accepted methods of shape preserving interpolation that have appeared in literature. In addition, the report presents a review of the methods, and then compares the schemes qualitatively and quantitatively, in order to provide a sound basis for choosing one for a particular application.
