DOE ARM SGP 915 MHz Profiler Winds

The Department of Energy (DOE) Atmospheric Radiation Measurement (ARM) program operates a 915 MHz profiler site at the Central Facility and three intermediate facilities of its Southern Great Plains site. The 915 MHz profiler Radio Acoustic Sounding System (RASS) provides hourly vertical profiles of the components of the wind. Both the high and low modes are included. The low mode starts at 0.087 km and continues to 2.342 km with a vertical spacing of about 0.06 km. The high modes starts at 0.318 km and continues to 6.187 km with a vertical spacing of about 0.2 km. See the README and header portion of the netcdf file for futher information.
