GEM MOLTS Derived Soundings for the GCIP Region

The Upper Missouri River Basin Pilot Project (UMRBPP) GEM MOLTS Derived Soundings data set contains AES/CMC GEM Model Location Time Series (MOLTS) derived soundings for locations within the UMRBPP domain. These output are only for the initial analysis time (i.e. no forecast derived soundings) and only the state parameters (pressure, temperature, dew point, relative humidity, wind speed, and wind direction). The complete output (including hourly forecast derived soundings with all surface and upper level parameters) in the original BUFR format are available from NCAR/SCD. This data set consists of output from 05 April 1999 to 05 May 1999. See the README file for more details.
