NOAA POES AVHRR Visible and Infrared Data

This data set contains the 1 km resolution visible and infrared channel data from the NOAA Polar Operational Environmental Satellite (POES) Advanced Very High Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR) instrument on the NOAA-18 and NOAA-19 satellites during the ORCAS (The O2/N2 Ratio and CO2 Airborne Southern Ocean Study) Project. The *_ucar files are of most use for ORCAS. These data are daily tar files that contain data files in the Terrascan Data Format (TDF).
