Quality Analysis of Visqueen Balloon Film

A study was conducted to investigate the production history of Visqueen A balloon film and to develop information useful for future procurement, quality control, and design of balloons. Two balloon manufacturers supplied control records which were analyzed for randomness, averages and standard deviation of thickness, tensile strength and breaking factor. These data provide a basis for realistic design allowables for Visqueen A.
