R/V Ron Brown C-band Doppler Radar Data - Leg 1

This dataset consists of rainmap files generated from doppler radar scans collected during the EPIC cruise of the NOAA Ship Ron Brown. The data consists of one gzipped .tar file that contains .gif, .ps and .txt data files for the time period September 12, 2001 through October 1, 2001. Rainfall rate statistics and gridded accumulation data have been generated as part of the NOAA CPPA initiative for numerical model validation. Information about the contents of these data products are described in the CPPA readme file below.
