WSI NIDS Single Radar Data

This dataset contains a limited set of WSR-88D Level III data products archived from the WSI NIDS datastream for 13 radars in the VORTEX domain. The products archived are base reflectivity and velocity at 0.5 and 1.5 degrees, composite reflectivity, and Vertical Azimuth Display (VAD) wind profile. The sites that were archived are KGLD, KTWX, KEAX, KPUX, KDDC, KICT, KAMA, KINX, KFDR, KLBB, KDYX, and KFWS. Data are archived in the original WSI NIDS format on exabyte tape. One week's data is contained on a single tape, as one Unix "tar" file per day.
