Sub-seasonal tropical cyclone predictions with the Model Prediction Across Scales (MPAS-A)

This dataset includes MPAS-A initial conditions, a sample namelist file, and simulated tropical cyclone tracks as detected using the TempestExtremes tracking algorithm. Initial conditions are for quasi-uniform 15 km Global MPAS-A simulations beginning at 0000 UTC 25 August for the years 2005-2019. These initial conditions were used with MPAS-A v7.1 to generate free running simulations until 0000 UTC 1 October for each year.
