Cape Grim Particle Size Distribution Data

This dataset contains continuous measurements of Particle Size Distribution data collected at Cape Grim during ACE-1 by A. Wiedensohler and F. Stratmann (Institute for Tropospheric Research ?IFT?). For these particle size distribution measurements, a Twin Differential Mobility Particle Sizing (DMPS) system consisting of two Vienna-type Differential Mobility Analyzers (DMAs) and two Condensation Particle Counters (CPCs, TSI 3035 and TSI 3010) was used. Measurements were performed in the particle size regime 3 < dp < 750 nm. The measured raw distributions were inverted using the new data inversion algorithm developed at the IFT. During the inversion the DMA transmission efficiencies and the CPC counting efficiencies were accounted for. The data consist of date/time, cabin temperature (K), cabin pressure (mb), number of size bins, midpoint particle diameter (nm), and discrete size distribution (#/cm3).
