Microplankton Images

This dataset includes JPEG images of ice algae, phytoplankton, and heterotrophic protists taken from samples collected during the US Coast Guard Cutter Healy HLY0802, HLY0902, and UNOLS R/V Thomas G. Thompson TN249 long spring sea ice cruises that took place in March-June 2008, 2009, and 2010. Data were collected during the Bering Sea Ecosystem Study-Bering Sea Integrated Ecosystem Research Program (BEST-BSIERP). BEST-BSIERP together are the Bering Sea project.
