This dataset is for the paper titled "Interhemispheric asymmetry of the thermospheric neutral density response to the 7-9 September 2017 geomagnetic storms."

The data set contains the following types of data: a) Assimilative Mapping of Ionospheric Electrodynamics (AMIE) outputs: amie_nh.npz and amie_sh.npz. b) Neutral density data along the satellite track: Swarm-A: swma_asc_20170905_20170908.txt and swma_des_20170905_20170908.txt; Swarm-B: swmb_asc_20170905_20170908.txt and swmb_des_20170905_20170908.txt; GRACE: grac_asc_20170905_20170908.txt and grac_des_20170905_20170908.txt c) IMF and solar wind data: omni_sep17.npz d) TIEGCM outputs: sep05_2017_sech.nc, sep06_2017_sech.nc, sep07_2017_sech.nc, sep08_2017_sech.nc e) TIEGCM outputs with post-processing: sep05-09.nc
